Bruce Bentley, CPA
Principal and Partner Emeritus

Bruce has over 40 years of experience and is the founding partner of Bentley & Associates, P.C. in 1977 before it became what is now Bentley, Bratcher & Associates, P.C. in 2005. Currently, Bruce serves as a principal at the firm with a concentration in tax, retirement benefit plans, and financial planning.

Bruce received his BBA in Accounting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his MBA at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bruce is a licensed CPA in the states of Texas and Louisiana and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

V. Melvin Key, CPA
Principal

Melvin is a principal with BBA with over 40 years of public accounting experience in tax, accounting, auditing and business advisory. He specializes in consulting and tax planning for closely-held business and owners. Melvin has advised clients in such areas as the structuring of business organizations, the purchase or sale of a business, corporate and partnership taxation and income tax and administration of estates and trusts. He is experienced in understanding the diverse needs of non profit organizations and Unions including audits and governmental compliance.

Melvin received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
